When I rough turned this piece of White Top (from Australia) burl and saw all the natural voids in the wood, I realized it would make a very interesting small table lamp. More of a conversation piece than a utility lamp, the light shines out through the cracks in the side. It has a Cocobolo base and a hand made glass finial that is also lit from inside the vessel. The cord has a built in switch and the LED bulb can be changed when needed.
