While I was shaping this outstanding piece of Tulip Poplar it hit me that it looked like a space ship. That wasn’t the intention, but sometimes you have to go with an inspiration, even if it is a little out there, no pun intended. So I added the “landing gear” and the “cockpit”. The black and green markings make it look like it has seen many hard miles in space. This is definitely a one of a kind piece.
