The second in a series of California Buckeye burl vessels incorporating pigmented polyester casting resin into the voids for complimentary color and interest. This piece has a natural edge, which illustrates the extremely varied surface of the burl. The burl eyes and spalting (greys / blacks) are around the entire piece (inside and outside). This piece was accepted into the 2014 Arts Clayton Juried Art Show.
