This is probably the finest example of color in a Tulip Poplar piece that I have seen. It ranges from black to green to red and brown. In addition, it has a raised lip and is spalted to add even more character. This bowl is finished with 20 coats of clear gloss lacquer and then buffed and polished to a mirror finish.
